Jordan and I met at the perfect moment and it was a blessing in disguise. We were freshly out of long-term relationships when we "officially" met and had no expectations. At the time, Jordan was working for my Uncle Sergio on the weekends as a waiter while he was in college. He had already known my family for more than 2 years prior to us "officially" meeting one another. In October of 2016, Jordan privately messaged me ("slipped into my DMs") to apologize and blamed my Uncle Sergio, who accidentally "liked" a VERY old picture I posted on my Instagram feed (- I assume he didn't want to seem like a creep LOL). It was the perfect "conversation starter," which then lead to our first date. We realized we had a LOT in common and the chemistry was instant. That's pretty much when we thought, "Okay. This could be the start of something special."
