There are two main trailheads for Camelback Mountain- Echo & Cholla. This is a challenging hike, but worth the views at the top. Bring LOTS of water and your hiking shoes.
For the baseball enthusiasts- or for those that love a good hot dog- spring training is a blast! There are multiple fields across Phoenix. Salt River Fields, Sloan Park, and the Scottsdale Stadium are a few of our favorites!
A foodie experience! Complete with street art, museums, delicious coffee shops, breweries, parks, live music, there is something for everyone! A few of our favorites: Hanny's, Arrogant Butcher, Cobra Arcade Bar, Bitter and Twisted Cocktail Parlour, Wren and Wolf, and Cornish Pasty, The Churchill, and The Duce.
The Phoenix Zoo is located here, but also the Botanical Gardens if you're looking to experience the beauty of the Sonoran Desert! There are also multiple good walking/hiking trails here.
The Downtown Gilbert Heritage District is a street filled with local restaurants, bars, and unique shops. Our favorite bar in downtown gilbert is OHSO.
Whether you're looking for brunch, dinner, shopping, coffee, desserts, spas, knick-knacks, Old Town Scottsdale has it all. It has been dubbed a "Mini Vegas"- but better. Our favorite restaurants include: Olive and Ivy, Citizen Public House, Diego Pops, and the Mission.
Downtown Chandler is full of great places to dine and hang out with family and friends. Enjoy a delicious meal, grab a brew or take in a show at the Chandler Center for the Arts. They have it all.
Top golf has multiple locations. The Gilbert one is closest to the wedding venue.
For our out of state visitors, if you have the time to make a 2 hour drive up north, consider this! Sedona is surrounded by red-rock buttes, steep canyon walls and pine forests. It's noted for its mild climate and vibrant arts community. Another wonderful place to spend the day exploring, eating, and they offer Pink Jeep Tours! Our favorite hikes: Cathedral Rock, and Devil's Bridge.
