We're getting married!

We first met on Cat's first day of working at Harkins, August 24, 2023, the day before Fernando's 19th birthday. We clicked pretty well and pretty fast and began developing a friendship at work. After sometime Fernando made the first move by very slickly getting Cat's Instagram and chatting more from there. Then at some point we made plans to get matching Pj's, go to the movies and watch Lion King together and eat at Applebees. Although Cat considered this a "hang out" at the time, it would later get renamed to our first date on October 9, 2023. Fast forward we went on more dates and officially became boyfriend and girlfriend on November 7, 2023. After a few months of dating we unfortunately fell into a cycle of sin that we couldn't break on our own and God had to intervene. On February 9th, 2024, aka Super Bowl Sunday, we split up. After a few hard months of no contact and us both chasing God for our own restoration, growth, and purpose he began to move in ways we couldn't believe. A random day in May, Cat happened to tear her tire while hitting a curb and knew that Fernando knew of a good tire shop to go to for a fix. On May 3rd, 2024, we went to the tire shop with Cat's mom who later took us both out to eat. She then proceeds to leave Cat with Fernando and go home, and we went on our second first date. Later that day at a church rehearsal we got a God given vision of Cat being a bride walking down to her groom, Fernando. After that God began to speak to us through his word to prepare us for a marriage to come. He blessed us with an engagement ring for free and gave visions to people about us for a time to come. Throughout our reconnection we were submitted to God and began courting, doing it his way, with accountability, boundaries, intention, and purity. Our story has so much more to it but it was never by our own perfection but by his grace that we're allowed to become one.
