Question

What should I expect during the Catholic Wedding Mass?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a Catholic wedding Mass, which consists of prayers, readings, music, and Holy Communion. The ceremony will last approximately 60 minutes. If you are not Catholic, you are warmly welcomed to participate. Here’s what to expect:     You will be invited to stand, sit, and kneel at various times, simply follow those around you.     During Holy Communion, practicing Catholics may go forward to receive the Eucharist. If you are not Catholic, you are welcome to remain seated and pray or reflect quietly.     Everything you will need to follow along will be provided in the wedding program. Our ceremony is a sacred celebration of our faith and marriage, and we’re grateful to have you there to share in this special moment with us.
