Transportation will not be provided. If you stay in Carlsbad, you'll be close enough to Uber/Lyft/Taxi to the venue, while also being near amenities for you to enjoy during your vacation. The venue is about 20 minutes (11 miles) from Carlsbad Village. However, there are additional hotels within a few miles of the venue if you would like to be closer to the venue. Note: There is a train station in Carlsbad Village where the "Coaster" connects. This will get you all the way from downtown San Diego up to Carlsbad. It's a great way to visit the coastal communities during your visit, especially if you will not have a car.
The ceremony and reception will both be at the same venue, with plenty of parking for those who wish to drive. Cars can be left overnight at the venue but need to be picked up by 10am the following morning, so please plan accordingly and safely.
To give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.
If your invitations says "and Guest," then yes. Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.
We ask that guests arrive at 3PM as the ceremony will begin promptly at 3:30PM.
The venue is an outdoor garden venue, which should allow for a beautiful Summer evening. "June Gloom" is a common occurrence, however the venue is a few miles inland, which is slightly warmer than the coastal communities so this should not be an issue.
We would love to see our family & friends get dressed up with us! We are requesting cocktail or semi-formal attire for the evening. Please no jeans. Ladies - if you decide to wear heels, avoid stilettos as part of the venue is a garden & you may sink into the grass.
