We're so excited to celebrate with you!

In December 2012, a group of friends gathered to attend the “End of the World Rave” in Treasure Island, SF. Jose and Mary had a great time dancing, exploring the various DJs at the venue, and chatting with each other at the bar! Unfortunately, they didn’t exchange phone numbers or social media accounts that evening, but the stage was set for the next time they met 4 months later. In April 2013, Jose and Mary returned to Treasure Island with the same group of friends; this time, Mary “accidentally” left her bag in his car after he dropped everyone off that evening and reached out to Jose via Facebook messenger to get her items returned. They finally exchanged phone numbers! Mary then drove to Jose to pick up her things. Later that week when Jose was working out late and Mary was studying at the library, Jose sent a text to Mary asking her if she was hungry after all that studying and wanted to grab a bite to eat. She said yes, and they went to a local chilly dog / hot dog spot in downtown San Jose. The rest was history. They continued to talk and text each other, meeting up for lunch or dinner for the next few months. We made our relationship official on June 26th 2013!

In 2017 Jose began his search for the perfect engagement ring. He sought out advice from various experts in the Jewelry business. In 2018 he bought a ring and carried it around for 6 months waiting for the perfect time to pop the question. In June 2018, Mary and Jose attended Jose's brother's (and best man) wedding, where Mary caught the bouquet. This was it! The sign he'd been waiting for! A week later, Jose planned a trip to San Franciso with his brothers and cousins. They went to the fisherman's wharf, ate pizza, then went to Ghiradelli Square for a sundae. At sunset outside in Ghiradelli Square Jose got down on one knee and proposed.
