FAQs

Question

Is there a shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony/reception venue?

Answer

There is not shuttle from the hotel to the venue, you will need to provide your own transportation. We recommend taking an Uber or Lyft, especially if you plan to party with some cocktails! There will also be a designated parking garage with a walkway to the venue.

Question

Will food and drinks be served? What kind?

Answer

We'll have hors d'oeuvres served during the cocktail hour, and a buffet-style dinner and cake during the reception. There will be an open bar, as well as a variety of non-alcoholic beverages. If you have any questions about the menu or have any dietary restrictions, please email wylygonshakwedding@gmail.com to let us know!

Question

What if I can't make it?

Answer

We'll miss you, but we understand! Please let us know as soon as possible by RSVPing so we can plan accordingly.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

We'd love to receive your RSVP reply by September 15th at the latest.

Question

What will the weather be like in Orlando in October?

Answer

It's generally fairly warm during the day, but may be a bit chilly at night. Consider bringing a light jacket, just in case!

Question

Will the wedding be indoors, or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony and reception will be taking place indoors, and the cocktail hour will be outdoors.

Question

Can I take pictures and post them on social media?

Answer

Yes, we'd love for you to share your pictures on social media during the cocktail hour and reception! Our only request is that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag #WowICaughtAWyly so we can see them all later! If you use Snapchat, we'll also have a custom Snapchat filter you can use on your pictures. For the ceremony, please refrain from having your phone out or taking photos. Our photographer will be hard at work capturing some great shots, so you can relax and enjoy the ceremony!

Question

I’m so caught up in the excitement of the big day, that I want to share my own big news at the wedding! Is that ok?

Answer

We’re excited for you too! However, please refrain from announcing a pregnancy, engagement, retirement, etc. during the wedding ceremony or reception. We want to let the newlyweds have their special day!

Question

Do I need to have my COVID vaccine to attend the wedding?

Answer

We request that you please have at least the first 2 doses of the COVID vaccine (or one dose for J&J), if possible, but we will not be checking for vaccines.

Question

I have a question that's not listed here; how can I contact you?
