Mel and Paige met in Paige’s hometown of Leesburg. Virginia in the fall of 2012. Mel is originally from Stanley, North Dakota where he lived until the age of 21 when he joined the United States Marine Corps. During Mel’s time in the service, he pursued intelligence as his MOS for the last four years of his service. Thereafter, he found a residence in Leesburg, Virginia where the couple ultimately met. Mel always claimed he had “tunnel vision” when he first laid eyes on Paige. The two were inseperable from the start! They spent most of their spare time traveling the east coast together, from the battlefeild of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, to the shores of the Outter Banks in North Carolina. Along the way, every stop they made, they made lifelong friends together. They both enjoy a passion for japanese cuisine, sushi. sports, history, literature and above all music. These qualities that they share in common brought the couple closer in love. Little did they know, their horizons were about to expand even further. In April of 2015, the couple decided to move their home to Stanley, North Dakota, where Mel was born and raised. Since returning home, Mel and Paige have spent their spare time traveling the state together. One of their favorite places to go together is Medora in the summer. Mel and Paige share a home together with their two beautiful dogs, Maverick and Diesel. Along the way, Mel and Paige have found a strong group of friends and Family. All of which they are honored to share a very special day with!
