How it all began!

Michaela’s Version of how we met: I met Logan freshman year of college through some mutual friends. We were always hanging out in the same friend group but I didn’t think much of him because we were both in other relationships at the time. Sophomore year rolled around and we were both single. Logan and I had a class together and we ended up sitting together because we didn’t know anyone else in the class. I offered to buy the textbook for the class so we could just share it, not thinking anything of it. As weeks went on, we were always getting together to study before class. That quickly turned into also going to lunch before class almost daily. I think it was at that point when we both realized there was something else between us. A few weeks later, during homecoming week, I went over to his apartment and he had the cutest set up with flowers, candy, and a note asking me to be his girlfriend. Logan’s Version of how we met: Michaela and I had mutual friends throughout freshman year of college and from time to time hangout in the same setting. She was always a pretty girl but never caught my attention, I was fresh out of a relationship and was not looking for anything serious. Sophmore year rolls around and at an outdoor concert at the beginning of the semester she walked up with a few friends and made me go “WOW”. I always had the feeling she had a thing for me but never really talked to her enough to know that for real. My first day of class I walk in dreading English Short Story and she was sitting right in the middle and motioned me over. We started talking more and more in class which led to daily lunches and homework became just an excuse to hang out with each other. If you know me well, I was always in a steady relationship, this time I swore off dating for a long time. Little did I know that my heart had different plans for her. 3 months later I asked her to be my girlfriend on Homecoming week and 3 years after that I proposed at the Tarleton bonfire.

COVID 19 Story

As you all know, Logan and I had this big day planned for last summer..... unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, we felt best to reschedule our day for a few months. Our new date came around and we still did not feel comfortable having so many family members at risk of being in contact with other people. We made the decision to go ahead and get married on July 17, 2020. Although we did go ahead and get married last summer, Logan and I would still like to share our vows in front of our friends and family at the ceremony. We are so excited to FINALLY celebrate our new life with our friends and family in this new year! Watch our COVID wedding video: https://youtu.be/FmN08MRYxww

For all the days along the way
