I’ve had the privilege of knowing Alyssa my whole life not just as the bride, but as my big sister and the people I’ve always looked up to. She has always been strong, loving, and someone I admire more than she probably knows. When Maverick came into her life, I saw how truly happy he makes her. He is such a genuine, kind-hearted person, and the way he loves and supports her means everything to me. Maverick is also my favorite person to ski with he truly thinks he is the fastest on the slopes (I know now he will be upset about the “thinks” in that sentence!) I can’t wait for many more years of beating him down ski slopes. It is the greatest honor of my life to stand beside them and celebrate the beautiful love they share.

I have the honor of standing beside Maverick as his best man, which is funny considering where we started. When he first came into my sister’s life, neither of us were exactly thrilled about the other. Somewhere along the way, though, things changed. What started as skepticism slowly turned into respect, plenty of laughs, and eventually a friendship I never expected. I’ve had the chance to see how much he truly loves and cares for alyssa, and it’s clear he brings out the very best in her. Watching their relationship grow has made it easy to see why they belong together. Today I’m proud not only to stand by my sister, but also by someone I’m lucky to now call “the bother I never had”. I am Alyssa’s littlest sister, therefore I inherited a cheat code to lifetime photos, hairdos, makeovers, and limitless big sis advice. Alyssa is the epitome of the selfless, talented oldest daughter, and I am beyond grateful to be brought up along side her (and at some points by her)! Despite Alyssa’s giving and loving qualities, she has never lowered the bar for what kind of man she wanted for a partner. That is why I believe there is no other man on this Earth other than Maverick Elwell who is that for her, and more. Maverick is hardworking, hilarious, and has a big ol’ heart just like his fiancé. I couldn’t be happier for this good looking couple, and just hope I can fulfill by maid of honor duties the best I can along side my siblings!

Well howdy, y’all! For those of you who don’t know me, my name’s Austin. To Maverick’s family, I’m one of his lifelong best friends. And to Alyssa’s family and friends, I’m probably better known as the guy who’s always crashing their dinner dates… or the guy they’re cooking for every weekend. Because let’s be honest, if they didn’t feed me, I’d probably just blow away in the wind. But in all seriousness, I’ve had the privilege of a front row seat watching these two grow closer and stronger together over the years. I’ve seen the laughter, the support, the teamwork, and the love they share. It’s something special. I couldn’t be happier for you both, and I can’t wait to see all the incredible things you’ll accomplish together in the years ahead. Hi I’m Brookelyn!! Me & alyssa met a birthday party when she was 17 & I was 19! Life is funny, you don’t always realize in the moment that someone you’re meeting will end up becoming a person you trust, admire, love, & do every day life with. Now, in our mid 20s a week without a lunch date or a Home Goods haul together feels empty. Even though we didn’t get to grow up together, I feel like we’ve been friends for life. Boating, skiing, stockyards, concerts, DWTS watch parties, and weddings all consistently include eachother & that is the best!!! She makes small ordinary things special & her child-like faith is admirable. She always shows up & is a steady, comforting, consistent part of my world. We talk about outfit ideas for hours, make a good team for small home remodel projects, & if we run out of things to talk about we just start planning a vacation! (Sorry Spencer & Mav!) We are two peas in a pod, & I can’t imagine my life without her in it. I’m so thankful God knew we definitely needed each other! Her & Maverick fit together perfectly. I couldn’t pick a better man to love her exactly how she needs & deserves to be loved. (Or that would be okay with me 3rd wheeling with when my husband is working!) Their friendship in my husband & I’s life is so special to us and something we will cherish forever! I cannot wait to raise babies together, & add them to all of the adventures! I’m so excited to be apart, let’s get y’all married!

Maverick has always been my built-in best friend. Growing up, he was the one I looked up to, laughed with, and occasionally argued with. But no matter what, we’ve always had each other’s backs. I’ve known Alyssa since the very beginning of their relationship, and it’s been incredible to watch their story unfold. From those early days of dating to building a life side by side, I’ve seen how much they’ve grown together. Alyssa has truly become the big sister I never had. She is someone I can look up to, joke with, and count on just like I do with Maverick. Their love is so genuine and I couldn’t be more proud of them and the beautiful life they’re creating together.

I know Alyssa from school. It is very hard for me to remember what exact moment we became friends. I remember us getting close in middle school and since then we have been best friends. When I went off to college I remember coming back home and grabbing lunch with her and she told me about Maverick. I didn’t get to met him until about 2 years after they started dating but when I met him I pretty much knew everything about him! He is the calm when her life gets loud.You can feel the love they have for each other by just being around them. It makes me happy to be a small part of their special day.

I have known Maverick for as long as I can remember. From playing with Tonka trucks as kids to countless days and nights of riding four-wheelers and enjoying the outdoors, Maverick has always been more like a brother to me, someone I can always depend on and a great person to be around. Long before I got to meet Alyssa, I knew she was something special by the way he always talked about her from the beginning. After I met Alyssa for the first time, I realized she was just as great of a person as Maverick. As I reminisce about the early days of my friendship with Alyssa, I’m flooded with memories of sushi dates, thrift shopping, and high school cheer. Before I had a license, Alyssa and her Honda were the only way I got anywhere—late, of course, and probably in the wrong uniform, but we’d get there!! It didn’t take long to realize what an incredible friend Alyssa would be. She is selfless, kind, and truly reflects the love of Christ in how she cares for others. I’ve been so blessed to watch the way God has written Alyssa and Maverick’s story. Their love reflects faith and commitment, and I’m praying God continues to bless their marriage for years to come.
