During her time at Saint Mary’s College, Jeanett served as president of La Fuerza, the Latina student organization on campus. In February, La Fuerza teamed up with the University of Notre Dame’s Latino Student Association—Victor’s alma mater—for a Valentine’s-themed social to meet new friends. Drawn by the promise of good company (and free food!), Victor decided to attend. That’s where he first met Jeanett. Though their initial conversation was brief, they soon found themselves spending time together: bonding over episodes of One Piece, a surprise shared favorite! That night led to hours of heartfelt conversation about life, dreams, and values. From that moment on, their connection only deepened… and the rest, as they say, is history. - Durante su tiempo en Saint Mary’s College, Jeanett fue presidenta de La Fuerza, el grupo de estudiantes latinas en el campus. En el mes de febrero, La Fuerza organizó junto con la Asociación de Estudiantes Latinos de la Universidad de Notre Dame —donde estudiaba Victor— un evento para conocer nuevas amistades con motivo del Día de San Valentín. Atraído por la buena compañía (y la comida gratis), Victor decidió asistir. Fue ahí donde conoció a Jeanett. Aunque su primera conversación fue breve, poco después comenzaron a pasar más tiempo juntos, compartiendo risas y descubriendo que ambos amaban el anime One Piece. Esa noche conversaron durante horas sobre la vida, sus sueños y sus valores. Desde entonces, su conexión solo ha crecido… y el resto es historia.
