Magic Kingdom
Our favorite park is Magic Kingdom (MK) of course! If you enjoy shows the MUST do's are watching the Happily Ever After fireworks and the Festival of Fantasy Parade. We love getting hot dogs and corndogs from "Casey's" or "Sleepy Hollow". Chris's favorite chicken tenders in all of Disney World are from Cosmic Ray's Cafe, and Andrea loves the famous spring rolls located at The Adventureland Bridge. The famous Turkey Leg and Dole Whip can also be found at MK. Don't forget to try the iconic Mickey Ice Cream Bar. Our favorite rides at MK include The Haunted Mansion, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, The Jungle Cruise, Under The Seas with Ariel, Peter Pan's Flight (Chris's favorite), Hundred Acre Wood (Andrea's favorite), fly with the iconic Dumbo the Flying Elephant, Pirates of the Caribbean and Andrea loves Tron's Lightcycle Run (the newest rollercoaster at MK).
Epcot
If you are visiting Epcot please grab a drink or two or three around The World Showcase and explore the "Festival of The Holidays" featuring holiday snacks/treats, drinks, and traditions from different countries. Our favorite drink/cocktail around the world is the Grey Goose Citron Lemon Slushy at the France Pavilion; Chris always orders an extra shot on it. Andrea's favorite beer around the world is the Magners Pear Cider at the UK Beer Cart at the UK Pavilion. Don't forget to stop by Soaring to take a short flight around the world, ride Frozen Ever After at the Norway Pavilion, Remy's Ratatouille Adventure at the France Pavilion, and of course the newest rollercoaster, Guardians of The Galaxy Cosmic Rewind (for thrill lovers). Any history buff can't afford to miss Epcot's icon Spaceship Earth!!!
Hollywood Studios
When visiting Hollywood Studios, Fantasmic! is an absolute MUST! Chris's favorite show (besides Fantasmic!) is Muppet*Vision 3-D while Andrea's is Frozen Ever After. Our favorite drink is the Dad's Electric Blue Lemonade at 50's Prime Time Cafe (you can grab it from their bar without a dining reservation) which is our second favorite restaurant at Hollywood Studios after Sci-Fi Dine-In Theather. Our favorite rides include Slinky Dog Dash Rollercoaster, Toy Story Mania, Star Tours, and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. If you love thrill rides, Andrea's favorites are Rock & Roller Coaster and the Tower of Terror. For Star Wars lovers, you MUST visit the Star Wars land: Galaxy's Edge, grab a drink at Oga's Cantina, ride the Millennium Falcon and experience Star Wars: Rise of The Resistance.
Animal Kingdom
We love visiting Animal Kingdom early in the morning as it isn't a full day park. Our MUST Do's at Animal Kingdom are Dinosaur (our favorite ride at this park), Avatar Flight of Passage (Animal Kingdom's marquee ride), Kilimanjaro Safari, and Festival of The Lion King Show. For a thrilling rollercoaster don't forget to ride Expedition Everest or what we call "The Yeti ride". There are plenty of other rides & shows that we enjoy at AK! We enjoy having lunch at Flame Tree Barbecue and Mr. Kamal’s Seasoned Fries from Mr. Kamal’s stand in the Asia land.
Before getting to the parks!!!
It might sound like it is easy to get to the parks, ride all the rides you want, and get all the dining reservations you want. However, Chris and I feel obligated to let you know that if you plan on spending time at the parks you need to do some research, plan ahead of time, and be prepared to maximize your time (or just ask us how to do it!). Again, please do not hesitate to ask any questions, there are no dumb questions. We want you to experience the magic we feel every time we return to Disney and we don't want you waiting in long lines or having a not-so-good experience. Please download the My Disney Experience App where you can get all the parks and hotel information at the tip of your fingers. If you are spending full days at the parks, we suggest you buy the Genie+ to maximize your time. We get it! it's an extra add-on to your park ticket, but you are coming once to Disney and do not want to spend the day waiting in lines. We will gladly teach you how to use it, just ask!
