Jess was starting her first job out of college working at a staffing agency in Bedford, NH. She accepted her job offer and was brought to "the bull pen" to informally meet all of her new coworkers. When she saw Bobby across the room she immediately knew he was the one she wanted. Bobby had been dating someone else at the time so Jess kept a respectful distance and decided to patiently wait and admire him from afar. Bobby ended up becoming single, left staffing to work in Property Management, and reached out to Jess to "catch up". After several outings which Jess did not realize Bobby considered "dates", Bobby invited Jess on a do-over date to dinner & a horror movie where they had the whole theater to themselves and finally had their first kiss. After a couple of months of dating, Bobby and his then roommate, Brauny, invited Jess to move in with them. Once Brauny moved out, Bobby & Jess took to making their new Nashua apartment a home for them and their awesome dog, Indy. After 2 years together, Bobby & Jess spontaneously decided to make a life changing move to Chicago, IL. They closed their eyes, took an enormous leap of faith, found jobs, packed up their life, and jumped into the abyss. Since then, they've taken every single opportunity to explore every inch of the beautiful city they uprooted their lives for. This adventure challenged them, strengthened their love for one another, and helped them grow. Considering the beauty of Chicago and how meaningful this city has become for their love story, Bobby chose to get down on one knee and propose there on a beautiful October afternoon and she, of course, said YES! Now back in Massachusetts, they are thrilled to be sharing the next step in their journey with you, their beloved friends and family!
