Tina was working as an Esthetician at a mens salon and spa. Michael came in to have his eyebrows waxed (something Tina still does for him to this day). After about a year and a half of flirting, (Mike was clueless and thought it was just Tina’s job to be so nice) he FINALLY got a clue and realized she was interested. Sadly, it wasn’t meant to be as they both started dating other people. Wrong timing as it turns out. The two went about their lives. Tina started a new job and no longer did Mike’s eyebrows. They would run into each other here and there, stop to chat and catch up and then move on. Then one day, after about three years, a mutual friend reaquainted them. This time, the timing was just right 💞

Mike and Tina go on an annual cruise. That years trip was to the Bahama’s and they were thinking of making this their last cruise for a while. Mike decided he would make it an unforgettable one by proposing to Tina on the balcony of their room aboard the ship. He got down on one knee and presented Tina with a ring that once belonged to his beloved grandmother (she was and still is a major influence on Michael’s life). Don’t ask Tina exactly what he said, she was so surprised and shocked she has no idea.
