We met the old fashioned way. On a dating app! We met up for drinks and ended up talking past midnight and went home with a big smile on our faces. Soon we were spending time almost everyday and could not get enough of each other. It seemed as though all pieces had fallen in place and we felt at home next to each other.

Although I myself (Golnar) was part of the work that went into designing the most beautiful engagement ring, I had asked for a surprised proposal. I knew we were going to be together forever! Farzan managed to surprise me so well that I had no idea it was coming. We went to a winery for a casual day hanging out with my lovely cousin Ava but I had no idea that all my loved ones had prepared the most amazing day to celebrate our engagement. It was an absolute dreamy day, from my sister and brother in-law and their loved ones showing up at the winery to a surprise party at my aunt's house with all lovely family and friends that I cherish the most.
