We met during annual weapons qualification for the National Guard. Chase was trying to help me sight in my weapon on the shooting range. I deer hunt (and am not too terrible of a shot) but for some reason, it took a much longer time than usual to successfully sight in my weapon that day! We have a lot in common to bond over and became friends.
Living two and a half hours apart can pose its challenges. We would often meet halfway between our hometowns, here in Peoria, Illinois to see each other, which is where we hope you’ll celebrate our big day with us! We were both completely committed to making the distance work. In Fall 2018, I moved to Springfield to be closer to Chase, and the rest is history.
On April 24th, we hope that you will be able to join us in celebrating our big day. We thank you in advance whether or not you will be able to make the trip because each of you has played a role in forming us into the humans we are today. We love each other very much. and each and every one of you.
