We’re having a wedding!

After several years working together at a restaurant, Sam and Olivia found themselves out on the town, both in Halloween costumes and a bit inebriated. Olivia dressed as a witch, while Sam had been persuaded to wear women’s wetsuit surf pants. They bumped into each other at a loud music venue and spent the evening eating pizza and gossiping about their co-workers. As the years went by, their friendship grew stronger, leading to regular grocery shopping trips on their days off and cooking steak and egg breakfasts whenever one of them brought home good leftovers from work. When Olivia adopted a puppy named Gracie May, Sam devised a plan to swoon her with his reliability and dog training skills. He began by offering to help walk Gracie and eventually started watching her when Olivia went out of town. Eventually it became evident that Sam's plan had been successful. Together, Sam, Olivia, and Gracie spent the summer and fall camping and enjoying scenic drives around Colorado. After five years, two new careers, a thirteen-foot raft, countless nights spent under the stars, one baby, and a courthouse marriage, they decided to gather all their favorite people in one of their favorite places.

Spoke Hollow Ranch holds a special place in our hearts. Sam has been taking trips to the ranch for years, and it has become a place where both Olivia and Sam look forward to visiting during the shoulder seasons. Whether it involves shooting clays, ranch tours in the ranger, helping cut cedar, or just watching a rainstorm from the porch, each visit is special and always enjoyed with Josh, Jeanie, and their kids. This ranch has been in Jeanie's family for generations and we are grateful for their generosity in sharing this wonderful refuge in the heart of hill country.
