FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

The courtesy of a reply is requested by May 1st.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP on this website under the “RSVP” tab or under the "Home" tab there is an "RSVP" button you can press.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. For ladies, either long or short dresses are appropriate and for gentlemen, we suggest a suit and tie.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

While your presence at our wedding would be the greatest gift, we have set aside a few items that we would love! All of the items are linked above under the “Registry” tab.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive to the ceremony at 4:00pm.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is valet parking at the La Valencia. If you would prefer to self park, there are various parking garages as well as street parking walking distance from the hotel. Uber and Lyft are also available in La Jolla.

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have several listed in our "Travel" section. June is an extremely popular travel time in San Diego, so keep in mind accommodation prices are going to get higher the closer you book. Most hotels we have listed are within walking distance of our venue or a couple minute drive.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! The ceremony will be outside and we will move to an indoor/outdoor area for the reception. Year round, the weather in San Diego is mild but it may get chilly at night!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Summer in La Jolla cannot be beat, especially in June. You can expect it to range from the mid seventies during the day into the low sixties in the evening.

Question

Where will updates be posted?

Answer

If there are any changes to plans, we will update accordingly here!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

While we love pictures, we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We’d like that time to be unplugged. For the rest of the evening, feel free to post pictures.

For all the days along the way
