The most luxurious subway station in the US. Or a waste of tax payers money.. you decide. Stop by before or after visiting the 9/11 Memorial pools. They also have an outdoor beer garden on the north side.
This is a really cool Italian market. Grab some meat and cheese and head to Battery Park for a picnic or grab one of their few tables inside.
If you're feeling touristy. A short ferry ride from lower Manhattan will take you to see the Statue of Liberty up close.
Take a short Uber/Taxi up to Chelsea and explore this indoor market full of different food stations and a few shops. Afterwards walk along the Highline - an elevated park on top of an old railroad track.
Spend the afternoon in Soho for some some much needed retail therapy followed by cappuccinos in Little Italy. Don’t be afraid to go off of Mulberry street for less commercial options.
A short Uber ride or 20 minute walk north brings you to Chinatown. Get bubble tea from Flying Tiger, dumplings from Vanessa’s or Mimi Cheng’s or make a reservation for dinner at Chinese Tuxedo.
