Can I bring a plus-one or my partner?

Answer

Due to the intimate nature of our venue, we have a strict guest cap of 55 people. In order to include as many of our closest friends and family as possible, we've made the deeply personal decision not to include plus-ones or additional guests beyond those named on your invitation — and in some cases, this may also include partners or spouses we haven't had the chance to spend a significant amount of time with. We know this is unconventional, and we're so grateful for your understanding. This wasn't an easy call, but it means every single person at our wedding is someone we hold close to our hearts. We can't wait to celebrate with you.

Can we bring children?

Answer

Our wedding is adults-only, with the exception of nursing infants. We hope this gives everyone — including the parents! — a proper night off. We know arranging childcare across international travel is no small thing, so please reach out if you need help thinking through options.

What's the RSVP deadline, and how do we respond?

Answer

Please RSVP as soon as possible using the RSVP page on this site. And if you know you can't make it — please do tell us as soon as you can. Because our guest list is capped at 55, an early "no" means we may be able to invite someone else we love, and we'd hate for a spot to go unfilled. There's no pressure and no hard feelings, ever. Just let us know when you know. 🤍

What should we wear?

Answer

The dress code is garden formal — think linen suits and flowing dresses. We're outdoors all day, so we especially encourage comfortable shoes; there is a gravel garden terrace and some gentle grass slopes. Stilettos may not be your best friend here! Please avoid white and ivory out of kindness to the bride.

What's the weather like, and what if it rains?

Answer

Tuscany in September is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures between 73–81°F. Mornings and evenings can be breezy, so a light layer for after sunset is a good idea. In the unlikely event of rain, we have a beautiful stone barn that can accommodate the entire celebration. The show will go on — beautifully, either way.

Answer

A causa della natura intima della nostra location, abbiamo un limite massimo di 55 ospiti. Per poter includere il maggior numero possibile di amici e familiari più cari, abbiamo preso la decisione, non facile ma molto sentita, di non prevedere accompagnatori o ospiti aggiuntivi oltre a coloro che sono nominati nell'invito — e in alcuni casi, questo potrebbe riguardare anche partner o coniugi con cui non abbiamo ancora avuto l'occasione di trascorrere molto tempo insieme. Sappiamo che è una scelta insolita, e siamo davvero grati per la vostra comprensione. Non è stata una decisione semplice, ma significa che ogni singola persona al nostro matrimonio è qualcuno che portiamo nel cuore. Non vediamo l'ora di festeggiare con voi.

Possiamo portare i bambini?

Il nostro matrimonio è riservato agli adulti, ad eccezione dei neonati ancora allattati. Speriamo che questo regali a tutti — genitori compresi! — una vera serata di libertà. Sappiamo che organizzare una babysitter non è cosa da poco, quindi non esitate a contattarci se avete bisogno di aiuto per valutare le opzioni.

Quando dobbiamo confermare la presenza e come possiamo farlo?

Vi chiediamo gentilmente di confermare la vostra presenza appena possibile tramite la pagina dedicata su questo sito. Vista la complessità organizzativa, abbiamo bisogno delle vostre risposte per definire il catering e la disposizione dei posti. Nel caso decideste di non partecipare, lo capiremo perfettamente — vi saremmo però molto grati se poteste comunicarcelo il prima possibile. Avendo a disposizione solo 55 posti, ci farebbe piacere poter eventualmente estendere l’invito a qualcun altro. Non c’è fretta né alcun tipo di pressione: fateci sapere quando avrete maggiore chiarezza. 🤍

Come dobbiamo vestirci?

Answer

Il dress code è elegante ma con tocco informale: sono benvenuti abiti in lino e vestiti leggeri. Trascorreremo l’intera giornata all’aperto, quindi consigliamo scarpe comode; la location include una terrazza in ghiaia e alcuni dolci pendii erbosi, per cui i tacchi a spillo potrebbero non essere la scelta più adatta. Vi chiediamo inoltre gentilmente di evitare il bianco e l’avorio, per rispetto della sposa.

Com'è il tempo, e cosa succede se piove?

Answer

In Toscana a settembre il tempo è tipicamente caldo e soleggiato, con temperature tra i 23 e i 27°C. Le mattine e le serate possono essere fresche, quindi un leggero strato in più dopo il tramonto è una buona idea. Nell'improbabile caso di pioggia, abbiamo un bellissimo fienile in pietra che può ospitare l'intera celebrazione. La festa continuerà — meravigliosamente, in ogni caso.
