We met each other through Facebook Dating. We talked for about a week before deciding to try to meet each other. Upon meeting, neither of us felt more at home. We hit it off immediately and have been inseparable ever since. Our first date was a memorable experience. We went bowling and walked around Lake Katherine and talked for about 2 hours. During the first half of the date, Kali realized that she was horrible at bowling and Ryan was amazing at it. The day when Ryan asked Kali to be his girlfriend was a day neither of them will ever forget. They hiked 7 miles at Starved Rock and during one of the brief breaks, they were sitting on a rock overlooking the dam and Ryan asked a question that would change their future forever. We dated for almost 3 years before Ryan finally proposed! Ryan took Kali back to the first date location, Lake Katherine, and got down on one knee! It was a full circle moment and something truly special! The rest is history and we are so excited to share our special day with you!!
