From NYC by Train:
Take Metro-North Railroad – (MNR). From NYC (Grand Central Terminal) Purchase an Off-Peak ticket from Grand Central Terminal to Talmadge Hill. Take the New Haven Line 1:02 pm (Saturday/Sunday) Express train to Stamford. In Stamford, quickly switch to the New Canaan Line and get off at Talmadge Hill. Once at the Talmadge Hill Train Station, you could walk 21 minutes to the Waveny House or take a 3-minute Uber or Lyft ride. Additionally, If you miss the New Canaan connection to Talmadge Hill, then you could take a 23-minute ride by Uber, Lyft, or Taxi to the Waveny House.
