FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

September 25,2025

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Rather than traditional gifts, we’re inviting loved ones to help us build a beautiful beginning. Contributions to our wedding fund are truly appreciated. The gift funds are found under the registry tab.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

The hotel has parking available and the reception venue is only a few blocks away, but there is a parking lot behind the reception venue and the ceremony venue has a parking lot as well.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal attire preferred, but there’s no real dress code, just please don’t wear a t-shirt and jeans or shorts please

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony is right across the bridge from the reception venue so no transportation is offered unfortunately. There are uber/lyft available if you don’t feel like driving from the ceremony to reception

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Please no kids. We love kids, but want a night for adults only!

Question

Are you having a cocktail hour?

Answer

From 1500-1600 we will be offering a cocktail hour while the wedding party is out getting pictures taken. Drinks and small bites will be offered. This is optional! The reception starts at 1600

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

The wedding party is staying at the Wingate which is a few blocks from the reception venue. We have rooms blocked off so when you book a room say you’re apart of the Golden/Blanset wedding

Question

Should we bring anything?

Answer

The only thing I suggest bringing is cash for the dollar dance and to tip your bartenders! Other than that just come ready to have a good time.

Question

Do we have to stay at the same hotel the wedding party is?

Answer

While we would love everyone to stay in the same hotel as us, you can choose from several other hotels in the area only a few miles apart.
