What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 20 minutes before the ceremony to ensure you have found parking and are seated.

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held on-site at The Lodge at Tahoe Donner. Everything will be outdoors (weather permitting).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends dressed up! We are requesting cocktail attire (semi-formal), black tie optional.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We would love to keep our wedding as an intimate event with close friends and family. If you received a plus one, your guest's name will be listed on the invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding! Please let us know if you have any questions.

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes! An RSVP will be required for everyone. This is essential in planning for seating and reception meals. If we do not get an RSVP back by the date provided, we will assume you are unable to attend.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love being auntie and uncle to your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony (no phones our cameras). We have hired professionals to capture this special moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you would like.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

There will be a bar in the grotto for our guest to use, it will be un-hosted. Please bring cash or card and be sure to tip the bartenders! Shots are not permitted and will not be sold per our venue's contract.

Is transportation provided to and from the venue?

Answer

Transportation to and from the venue will not be provided. We recommend arranging your transportation in advance.
