A quintessential New England Main Street at its finest. Perfect spot to spend an afternoon walking around. Some of our favorite stops are Bella Funk boutique, Crumb Bar bakery, Eastern Styles, Chutter's candy, and Little Village Book Shop. Stop by Schilling for a beer and a bite while you're there!
Our favorite orchard with mountain views for apple picking. They sell homemade apple cider and donuts on site!
Small apple picking orchard located on the same street as our venue!
Chances are you've seen this drive all over Instagram. Amazing daytime activity for leaf peeping with lots of pull offs for photo opportunities. Leave enough time for traffic as the highway is very crowded!
Amazing restaurant for wood fired pizzas and beer. There's also a taproom and food truck next door to the restaurant if you just want to go for some beers + burgers!
Yes, this pancake restaurant won a James Beard award and is well worth the (long) wait. Pro tip: Call first thing in the morning to get added to the waitlist and they'll tell you exactly what time to arrive.
Rustic taproom and restaurant located minutes from our venue in downtown St. Johnsbury. Great spot to grab lunch/dinner and try out some local beers pre or post wedding!
Another awesome brewery/restaurant in the area. Lots of outdoor games and good people. The ambiance here is everything. We're hosting our Welcome Party here!
Cutest coffee shop in downtown St. Johnsbury! Great place to grab a quick breakfast or lunch.
Nice spot close to our venue to grab breakfast to-go, or sit down on their patio for a brunch or lunch!
If you're staying on the NH side, this is our favorite coffee shop! Try any of their lattes and pastries, or stop by for a panini for lunch.
Dog lovers will find this spot special. Dog Mountain was created by artist Stephen Hunneck as a space for dogs to run free. This spot is home to many walking trails and the famous Dog Chapel, where people from all over the world come to honor their dogs who have past on.
You may recognize this spot from our engagement photos! Incredible vintage store with lots of rustic goods and a candle line made by the owner.
Every Sunday from 10am-1pm. Pick up some local wild flowers from one of Kristina's favorites, Tarrnation Flowers.
This historic hotel overlooking the mountains is a beautiful spot for a drink at sunset.
The White Mountains in nearby New Hampshire provide the best hiking in the eastern United States. Brandon has spent his entire life hiking in this area, and would love to share some of his expertise for those of you looking to enjoy nature. Easiest - Bald Mountain: 1.4 miles round trip. This mountain sits right across the road from Echo Lake and provides beautiful views for very little work. Easy - Sugarloaf Mountains: 3.3 miles round trip. Both mountains diverge about halfway through this path, so you can add distance if you want to summit both. Kristina and I usually choose North, which gives tremendous views into the Pemigewasset Wilderness. Moderate/Hard - Mt. Eisenhower: 6.5 miles round trip This is my favorite hike in the Presidentials (which are what all the tall mountains are called). Make sure to hike Edmands Path to the top. The views here are glorious. You'll be stunned guarantee. Hardest - Mt. Hight: 8.8 miles round trip. No one will hike this, but it's my favorite FYI
