An angel on earth, someone whose impact on my life cannot be quantified. I knew Christine would be in my life forever as soon as we met (on day-one of sorority recruitment). I love her mind and where it leads her - and in many ways where it has led me. After all, she is a mastermind of sorts. She is the person I can do just about anything with, whether it's drive around and listen to Taylor Swift, treasure hunt, travel, or just sit around and talk...in fact I could probably sit next to Christine and just talk forever.

There are befores and afters in my life, my friendship with Phoebe is one of those markers. We met when I was studying abroad in England when I was newly 21 years old. If you had asked her then if we would still be close - closer even - this many years later she would've said you were mad. I feel intensely grateful that we defied the odds. Our friendship is proof that there are no oceans that can separate two people who want to be in each other's lives. Together, we've been through everything adulthood brings: love, loss, and everything in between. She is a consistency and a solace. A soul-sister to say the least.

My future sister. Someone I had been wishing for all of my life. She has the most comforting smile and can always cheer me up no matter what kind of day I'm having, honestly sometimes just the idea of her cheers me up. She is an incredible friend, sister, and now mom. She is funny and whip smart and an easy person to look up to. I can't really express how grateful I am to get to be her family.

I met Emily in New York, we were assistants at Random House together (where she is now an editor) - she interviewed me for the job actually, and I had never been so at ease in an interview. It was as if our future friendship was suddenly this clerical reality - a fact. I look up to Em so much, and am so thankful that our paths crossed and that we've been able to continue to walk through life together. Through different jobs, and different cities - she has been a constant in my life since the day we met. It's not every day that you stumble into a relationship like that. I'm incredibly lucky to have her in my life.

Sisters...there were never such devoted sisters...Courtney is another wish of mine granted. I truly can't believe I stumbled into a life where I get to be related to actual sunshine. A person who brings the fun no matter what we are doing. She is an incredible mother, a wonderful friend, and from the moment we met I knew she would be there for me no matter what; and that's an incredible feeling to have so immediately about someone.

Always a loving presence and wise-worded message whenever you need it, this lovely matron simply won't stop talking about how much she loves you. As Mother of the Groom, she promises that Christian will behave and be a good boy for the entire wedding or else she will take away his (marriage) license.

After immigrating from Loompaland, Doug opened a small kissing booth in the upper west end and after his first client the rest was history. Giving birth (by proxy) to Christian is one of Doug's proudest achievements and he has the scars to prove it! When C-man came on the scene, Doug finally turned his life around and got that convertible he always dreamed of, knowing it was now or never. As Officiant he plans to keep the proceedings "Dougie" and "Fresh" and we will hold him to that. Doug also wants to add that, no, he doesn't know why Christian is like that.

Our son, our greatest achievement - would we even have fallen in love had he not been by Christian's side the day he asked me on a date? That's something we'll never know.
