While September tends to be one of the sunniest and warmest months for us, The Bay Area is known for having unpredictable weather. Bring sweaters and jackets for cool nights. September is also fire season so cross your fingers for us that we will have clear skies and bring an N95 mask just to be on the safe side! Our wedding will be both indoors and outdoors so bring appropriate clothing for both!
Cocktail attire! In other words, wear your classy wedding bests that you feel most comfortable and elegant in! The events on Friday and Sunday are casual attire.
Yes. There is metered street parking all around the venue. And, guests could leave their car overnight if needed. Additionally, Preservation Park is near Downtown Oakland close to the 12th street Bart station and is easily accessible by Uber or Lyft. We will be providing Uber codes to our guests. Information about that is on the Travel page.

Both! Friday's welcome event will be outdoors in a local park. Dress casually and in whatever is comfortable. The wedding ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors. Dinner and dancing will be inside. Sunday's goodbye brunch will be outside in Rachel's parent's backyard with access to both homes. Dress casually for this event as well!

Given this will be a large gathering and some of our guests are immunocompromised, we are asking that everyone take a COVID test before the weekend of our wedding. Additionally, much of the wedding events are outside!
We would love to see your kiddos so please bring them to the events on Friday and Sunday! The wedding on Saturday is for adults only. NB: Calvin will be at the wedding to witness his parents get married!
