📍 We’re gathering near the boardwalk entrance at 2nd Avenue & Ocean Avenue in Belmar. There’s a wide open area where we’ll meet before walking down to the beach. 📸 For convenience, we’ve added a photo showing the exact meeting spot — you can see it by clicking the Ceremony tab on our website!

đź•  We recommend arriving at 5:30 pm to allow time for parking and gathering. The beach ceremony entrance starts at 6:00 pm, and the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:05 pm.đź’Ť

Question

Where can we park?Where can we park?

Answer

For the wedding ceremony, there’s paid parking along Ocean Avenue (Zone #58101) from 7:00 am–1:00 am, via the ParkMobile app. 🅿️ Free parking is available on nearby side streets — we suggest checking there first. For the Tiki Boat reception, paid parking is available behind Marina Grille (Zone #58106) or you may find free parking spots near Marina J, where the boat departs. ⚓

Question

Is there a dress code?Is there a dress code?

Answer

It’s a beach wedding, so think relaxed, breezy, and beachy! Barefoot or flip-flops welcome during the ceremony on the sand — we’ll even have a little shoe drop-off area. 👣 For the boat celebration, there’s no strict footwear rule, but we recommend skipping high heels for comfort and balance. Flat shoes or small wedges work great! 🥿 Color suggestions: creams, blues, whites, and soft sunset shades. For more details, check out the “Dress Code” section in the menu!

Question

How do I join the Tiki Boat celebration and pay for the ticket? How do I join the Tiki Boat celebration and pay for the ticket?

Answer

🎟 To join us on the boat, the ticket is $75 per adult (includes treats , sunset vibes , and lots of love). Space is limited to 39 guests, so please reserve your spot early!✨ and the fee simply helps us keep track of numbers and share the celebration costs together — but please don’t feel pressured about the fee; your presence matters most. For those who want to support, please can secure your spot through our Zola registry — we’ve added a fixed contribution item under “Tiki Boat Ticket” for easy payment via credit card. Prefer Venmo? Just let us know — we’ll track it manually for you.

Question

Are kids allowed on the Tiki Boat? Are kids allowed on the Tiki Boat?

Answer

Yes, children and even infants are welcome aboard! But due to Coast Guard regulations, every single person — including babies — must be counted as a passenger. Since space is limited to 39 guests, we kindly ask you to consider whether it’s possible to leave your little one with a loved one for the evening — this might allow another friend to join the celebration. But if that's not an option, no worries at all and to make it easier for families, we’re offering a reduced rate for kids. Just let us know and we’ll make it work. 💛

Question

Will there be food on the boat? Will there be food on the boat?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have light bites, an ice cream cake, drinks, and plenty of sweet surprises while we cruise under the stars. ✨ Feel free to bring your favorite drink, too — BYOB is welcome! 🍹

Question

Can I skip the boat but still come to the ceremony? Can I skip the boat but still come to the ceremony?

Answer

Absolutely! The ceremony is free and open to all invited guests — the boat reception is optional and ticketed due to limited space. If you're not joining the boat celebration, feel free to enjoy the beautiful Belmar boardwalk 🏖️, explore the beach, or grab a bite at one of the many great restaurants nearby 🍽️. It’s a lovely place to unwind after the ceremony!
