June 4, 2014. Joe and Marilyn met each other at their friends house, but it originally started through social media. Joe was the first to initiate a conversation with Marilyn and at the time she had no idea what was to come of it. They talked with each other non stop as if they had known each other their whole lives. Finally, after a couple of weeks, they met each other in person at their friend Kateys house, May 2014! Marilyn noticed that Joe was actually pretty shy in person which was something Marilyn wasn't used to, but she knew that once Joe had gotten himself comfortable around her, that he would open up more and be more himself. Which is exactly what happened! A couple of weeks of them getting to know each other went by. On June 4, 2014, they were both taking a drive in their friends jeep when Joe started to look over at Marilyn to ask her something. She waited to hear what he was going to ask, as she noticed he was a little nervous. Joe asked Marilyn if she can be his girlfriend and she happily said YES OF COURSE! They were in separable! They both went on many dates, going to the movies together, eating out for dinner, going to car shows with each other, off roading in Joes jeep, off roading in the woods with their quads, and even taking vacations with each other. Joe and Marilyn had both met each others families with whom they both became close with as well. Then, unexpectedly in 2016, Marilyn was pregnant. Marilyn was 18 and Joe was 20. They both had no idea what was to come, but they knew that everything happened for a reason! Joe and Marilyn both welcomed their baby boy Bentley Keegan, April 6, 2017. They were so in love with him which made each other closer. They were a family now! Just a couple months later, December 11, 2017, Joe was ready to propose to Marilyn. It was a beautiful frosty night. Marilyn had Bentley in her arms walking inside the house while her eyes were closed. Joe directed her in front of the Christmas tree and as she opened her eyes, he was down on one knee. He asked her to marry him and she happily said YES with happy and excited tears in her eyes!! Marilyn and Joe knew they were not financially ready to plan for a wedding so they were in no rush to plan for one until the time was right. Joe and Marilyn both enjoyed and loved watching their son Bentley grow up. Going on family vacations, going for walks, and going to parks were things they enjoyed doing together as a family. In April 17, 2019, they welcomed their baby girl, Mila Keegan. They had now grown into a loving family of 4! Joe and Marilyn's hearts were so full watching Bentley become and be a big brother to Mila. Not only did Joe and Marilyn grew as a couple, but they also grew as loving and caring parents. More family vacations, more family walks, more park days and beyond <3 FINALLY, after 5 years of being engaged, they are ready to tie the knot! May 7th, 2024! The beautiful thing about young love is the truth in our hearts that it will last forever. Love is not perfect. It isn't a fairytale or a story book and it doesn't always come easy. Love is overcoming obstacles, facing challenges, fighting to be together, holding on and never letting go. Love is work, but most of all, love is realizing that every hour, every minute, every second of it was worth it because you did it together. Marilyn and Joe had no idea of their future, but they worked through it together every step of the way. Together they created a beautiful relationship and a beautiful family. Here's to FOREVER!
