Caroline and Julia met at American University in 2015 in their very first grad school class on "the US Presidency." Julia always says she was immediately intimidated by Caroline's "coolness," which is completely understandable. The two quickly bonded on their metro rides home together from class three nights a week. Things got serious in their friendship that winter when the two went on world's weirdest double date where we both showed up in fur vests. Caroline and Julia have been bonded ever since! They share a love of wine, eating more than recommended, Capo deli, and completing workout challenges together! Caroline is proud to have this absolute gem of a woman standing beside her as her Maid of Honor and best friend!
Jack Paver
Best Man
Jack and Cameron met in 2006 when Jack was invited to play trumpet in a ska band, The Ruckus. During said practice, the drummer left the room to take a poop and Jack hopped on the kit. After realizing that Jack was a much better drummer than trumpet player, he asked his parents buy him a drum set for Christmas, and they would spend the next 4 years playing in ska bands together. After living in Richmond for ten years, Jack moved back to northern VA in 2018 and has spent many days and nights hanging out in Caroline and Cameron’s backyard in DC (during the pandemic) or crashing on their couch after a night out (before the pandemic).
Colleen Hearin

Colleen and Caroline met in early 2018 when Caroline interviewed Colleen for a job in Congresswoman Dina Titus's office. When Colleen got the job, the two quickly started a friendship filled with shenanigans in the office, long chats in the Rayburn courtyard, daily breakfast/gossip sessions in the cafeteria, and their shared love of torturing the Chief of Staff. When Caroline left the hill, Colleen filled her shoes as Scheduler, and carried on her legacy (meaning she gives the COS plenty of shit). The two can be found FaceTiming on a regular basis, talking in high pitched voices, discussing last night's episode of Bachelor or how to smash the patriarchy. Caroline is relieved this warrior of a woman survived COVID and that she's going to be standing beside her on her big day.
Patrick Gallagher
Groomsman
Pat and Cameron met on the first day of 7th grade at Herndon Middle School and remained close friends all through high school. While Cameron attended Indiana University, he and Pat would spend most days hanging out together in northern VA during the summer months. Pat was a huge pillar of support during Cameron’s diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis. While other friends were far away and family members didn’t know the best way to offer comfort during the process, Pat always lent an open ear and would share things he had learned about the disease while researching online. On October 18, 2015, Pat tragically passed away. Although he won’t physically be with us on the wedding day, Cameron knows that Pat will be celebrating with us in spirit.
Juliana Lopez

Caroline and Juliana met in 2018 when Caroline started dating her brother, Cameron. They first met at Renwick Gallery in DC for the Burning Man Exhibit, followed by dinner at Cuba Libre and gelato at Dolcezza with the whole family. Caroline is so grateful to have another amazing sister-in-law who has already taught her so much - like that Kacey Musgraves is AMAZING, black Clark's boots are a winter-must have, and that just because its an open bar does not mean you need to drink every drink in front of you. Although, Caroline should have already known that last part.
Danny McKim
Groomsman
Danny and Cameron met each other in 2006 while both were in high school. Danny attended a private high school nearby, but met Cameron through Jack and Pat, who went to elementary school with Danny. Danny was living in Washington, DC when Cameron moved downtown in 2017 and they began hanging out frequently along with their friends Matiullah and Elizabeth. Although Danny moved to Denver later that year, he and Danny have hung out every time Cameron travels to Denver or whenever a DC sports team wins a championship and has a victory parade!
Audrey Moorhead

Audrey and Caroline met in 2011 at Wittenberg University on the 6th Floor of Tower Hall Dorm. Caroline made a good first impression by yelling at Audrey for blasting Kelly Clarkson's "Breakaway" at 2pm on a weekday while she was "trying to NAP!". Luckily Audrey forgave Caroline and the two later joined Sigma Kappa together. They even shared a bunk bed junior year in "the Quad," which ironically housed five women. Audrey and Caroline have been through a lot together - from leading Gamma Omega in some of the greatest ritual ceremonies in Sigma Kappa history to having a little TOO much fun on a roommate trip to Nashville. Caroline is so grateful Audrey moved to the DC area a few years ago, so their shenanigans could continue into their adult lives. LITMB, right?!
Will Cormier
Groomsman
Will and Cameron went to the same elementary school in Reston, VA, Buzz Aldrin Elementary School. Though they wouldn’t become close friends until high school, Cameron knew of Will as “the kid who tricks out razor scooters”. Will plays trombone and became a member of their ska band, The Ruckus, in 2006. Will moved to Miami for college in 2009, and remained in Miami after graduating. He and Cameron have stayed in touch over the years and Cameron has been able to visit Will in Miami several times.
LE
Flower Girl
When Cameron adopted LE in 2015, she had only been at the foster home for 1 night. She was born in Missouri and ended up in a shelter as a puppy, but Cameron found her on Petfinder.com and did everything he could to make sure he could be her dad. LE loved growing up in DC and having fun adventures with her dad, but everything changed when she met Caroline in 2018. From the moment LE greeted Caroline at the front door for the very first time, she knew this was going to be her mom. LE has gotten to join Cameron and Caroline on almost every one of their vacations since then—lots of camping and beach trips. LE couldn't be more excited for her parents to get married and she is very excited to steal the show as the most adorable flower girl anyone has ever seen.
Parker Lee

Parker and Cameron also met while attending Buzz Aldrin Elementary School and became close friends in 6th grade while they were classmates in Mrs. DeLaVerne’s class. Parker and Cameron remained friends through high school, played in the ska band Elephant Appreciation Day together, and both moved to Bloomington, IN in 2008 to attend Indiana University, where they were roommates during their Junior and Senior years. Since graduating, they have remained close friends and have met up for what can only be described as “adventures” in Cleveland, Chicago, Miami, New York, and DC. Parker currently lives and works in New York City; however, he and his wife temporarily relocated to Miami during the Coronavirus pandemic, where he is able to spend time with our mutual friend Will.
