Flight
Richmond is located about an hour and a half from Lake Gaston. Raleigh-Durham International Airport is approximately an hour and forty-five minutes from Lake Gaston. If you are flying into town for the weekend's festivities we recommend either of the above airports and renting a rental car to drive to Lake Gaston, as it's somewhat remote.
