Question

Is parking available at Maxwell Mansion?

Answer

Parking is permitted for the duration of the ceremony, and to those staying on-site at Maxwell Mansion. If you are NOT staying overnight at Maxwell Mansion, please use street parking alongside the venue.

Question

Is parking available at The Riviera—Lake Geneva Cruise Line?

Answer

Metered parking is available along the shoreline and throughout downtown Lake Geneva. If using metered parking, it is recommended to reserve 4 hours to ensure vehicles will not be ticketed. Our reception is only 0.6 miles away from our ceremony at Maxwell Mansion. Guests can also access transportation via Uber or Lyft.

Will the ceremony be outdoors/open air?

Answer

Yes! Ceremony will be hosted outdoors, if weather permits. If in-climate weather occurs, ceremony will be hosted in The Ballroom at Maxwell Mansion. There is ample seating provided so that all guests can feel comfortable.

Will the Reception be outdoors/open air?

Answer

The Main Deck on the Duchess is enclosed and provides air conditioning for the opportunity to cool down. Tables will be available on the Main Deck for those who would like to sit down while dining. The Upper Deck is open air, with an awning to shelter from extra sun, or weather. High top tables will be available for stand-up dining. Music and dancing will take place on the Upper Deck.

What is the maximum capacity of people on board The Duchess?

Answer

The Duchess hosts a maximum of 80 people. By intention, we expect 40 who have RSVP’d to be “attending” this wedding. There is plenty of space for all comfort levels to feel welcome!

Are face coverings “required” at this event?

Answer

Though face coverings are NOT required at this event, they ARE encouraged when receiving from stationary buffet and dessert table. Individually packaged face masks will be provided for all guests, as well has hand sanitizer throughout the venue. To ensure the comfort and safety of all guests, please be aware of proper distancing. We love all of our family and friends dearly. Please be mindful and respectful to everyone’s varying levels of comfort.

What are is Celebration on Wells Catering doing to provide COVID precautions?

Answer

Service staff will be gloved and wearing face-coverings. An abundance of Dinner Hors d’oeuvres will be Butler Passed. Salads, dessert, etc. will be held on a stationary buffet. Face masks are recommended when receiving from the stationary buffet.

Question

What should I do in the instance I’m not feeling well on August 8th?

Answer

We ask that if guests are feeling ANY less than their best on the day of our event, that they stay home and get some rest. Please observe the same precautions if you believe you have been exposed to COVID within 14 day’s of this event. Your love means more to us than just one event, and we will completely understand and appreciate you doing the right thing for yourself and others.
