We truly believe that God had a hand in our relationship because despite coming from the same area, being in the same work industry and having 200 mutual Facebook friends, we never met until I swiped right on the bumble app. Adam and I met on November 8, 2016 -- election night. He invited me to his "go to" date spot, The Chimes, but what he didn't know was that was my "go to" suggestion for first dates too! We made light, friendly conversation over a few beers--between 3 bathrooms breaks for Adam (I swore he was calling someone in there!), and we ended the night by playing rock, paper scissors for rap videos vs. kiss. I let him win, and the rest is history.
