Our 8th grade year at Highlands middle school. Mid year our science classes merged together and it was the start of our journey. Oh how I couldnt stand him! It all started with me bumping him by accident and him being sarcastic, my reply: Boy Whatever! Noticing him in the back of class everyday I began to like the guy. I would get the seat closet to the door just to see him walking the hallways after the bell rung when we were in separate classes. My friends catching on to what I was doing made it so funny (Kaylah) would say “There goes your man Keyana!” Letting the whole class know. The worst part was when Kaylah found out we both was in Love with Popeyes Chicken. I remember it like yesterday “Keyana he lovvvee the biscuits!” And Im like dannggg me too smiling hard. It was over once we exchanged numbers. My cell phone wasnt free until after 9pm, but Best believe at 8:59 pm that phone was dialing Davante Kelly. Looking back to then its amazing to see how much we have grown together from begging our moms to take us to the movies, to looking up first jobs together, me teaching him how to drive, the whole works. 10 years plus and now you all are Meeting the Kellys!

A huge Surprise! So he told me his job gave him a free night at the Amelia Island resort and we were going horse back riding. So we get there and enjoy the scenery and the beach before it’s time to go horse back riding and it was beautiful. As were horse back riding down the beach I’m like why is it a group of people down there? And he tries to distract me by telling me something about the water. When we got closer to the group of people I see it’s both of our families with a huge banner saying “Keyana Will You Marry Me”.
