Matron of Honor
99% of my childhood consisted of me following Kelly around trying to emulate her and convince her to play with me. I thought she hung the moon, however, she got so annoyed with me that she once tried to put me in the blender and often times locked me in the garage. After 15 years of effort and many hundred fights later, she finally decided that we were much more similar than she once thought. In 2015, I moved to Atlanta and we finally became ROOMIES! That was short lived, as she later moved back to TN. However, our bestie-ness has continued via facetime dates, ice cream runs, hundreds of bags of Doritos, beach trips, surprise snail mail, synchronized movie watching, and snapchats. Kelly is my #1 fan, my voice of reason, and the best friend I could ever ask for.
Best Man
Lou-Dawg... Where to begin? As any guy will tell you, having an older brother can be pretty fun but also extremely frustrating. I am a fairly competitive person, and most of my childhood consisted of Louie and his friends consistently beating me in every single sport or game possible. By the time I could finally beat him, he just stopped playing sports with me altogether to ensure I would never have the satisfaction of winning. That's what brothers are for right?? If you don't know Lou, make sure to seek him out at the wedding and introduce yourself. Once you do, you'll know exactly where my dry humor and sarcasm come from!

Amy is the oldest (by a few minutes) of the McIntosh children. It wasn't until I was in high school that I was able to really hang out with Amy (being 11 years apart makes it difficult to have a lot in common when you're young...) I am told (and have pictures to prove) that as a child I was Amy's favorite babydoll and allowed her and her friends to play a more realistic game of 'house.' However, as of late, Amy and I have bonded over country concerts, Mexican food, and spending time with my first niece (Amy's daughter), Paige.
Groomsman
Jordan and I met during our freshman year together at Georgia College and State in Fall 2007. His story goes that we met during a flag football game and I was pretty standoff-ish. I don't recall that moment though so I still think he is making it up... Regardless of that, we very quickly became best friends and our friendship continued to grow long past freshman year. We lived together for 2 of the next 4 years, and had an absolute blast bonding over Cubs-Cardinals games, video games, intramural sports, Chinese buffets, etc... I was asked to be in his wedding back in October 2012 and I am honored to finally be able to return the favor 7 years later (Hey, it takes some people longer than others okay?).
Bridesmaid
Dana is tied for oldest (her twin Amy won by a few minutes) of the McIntosh clan. Similar to Amy, I have few recollections with Dana when I was a child. However, as far back as I can remember, Dana has always been a secondary mother figure of the family, constantly comforting me and attempting to save me from the torment of my other siblings (mainly Kelly). I always appreciated Dana's kind spirit and her willingness to color pictures and carve pumpkins with me when everyone else told me no. Dana is definitely the 'sensitive' one of the family (which brings great contrast compared to the rest of us), but our family truly wouldn't be complete without her.
Groomsman
The most accurate way I can think to describe Frye-guy is this: The nicest, most genuine guy in the world. I met Ian in college during my sophomore and his freshman year. We quickly became friends and eventually were roommates during and after college. Ian is also the one who "introduced" me to Bethany. He invited me to a Christmas party in December 2017, and it was there that I first met Bethany (they were co-workers). I put that in quotation marks though because while Bethany and I immediately hit it off, weeks later I asked Ian why he never thought to introduce us, and he said something along the lines of, "I didn't think she would like you", so I still like to give him crap about that!
Bridesmaid
Hailey and I met in 2013 at Carson-Newman. We initially bonded over the fact that we were both new to CN and basically had no friends. Through our two years of nursing school we grew incredibly close, eventually becoming best friends. In our (very little) spare time through nursing school, we could be found driving aimleslessly listening to country music, shopping, finding a beach to go to, and having girls' nights. Despite having graduated and living in separate states for the last two years, we have remained best friends and are always able to pick up right where we left off.
Groomsman
Chris has been my brother-in-law since April 2014, but I have actually known him since he started dating my sister circa 1995 (That's a story for a different day). Chris has fit in perfectly with our family since day one due to his dry humor and absolute love of sports. Now that I think about it, if he loved teams that were rivals of the Cubs, Bears, or Notre Dame then we would probably feel a little differently about him. Chris is a stand-up guy that has always been an older-brother presence in my life, and I am glad he will be by my side during the biggest day of my life.
Bridesmaid
Heather and I initially met while taking Spanish 3 in high school, Graduation took Heather out of state for a basketball scholarship and it took us a few years, but we eventually reconnected on twitter, (yes, I am serious) and decided that we should become friends again. Because, why not? We rekindled our long-distance friendship and began taking turns traveling to and from TN, GA, IN, and CO to visit each other. Recently, our better halves have also had the chance to bond over their love of the Chicago Bears.
Groomsman
Nac is one of the best guys around. While we both went to Roswell High School, we didn't get very close until we both graduated college and moved back to Roswell. From there, we quickly became best friends and moved in together (with Louie) in Atlanta not long after. He is the epitome of a "yes man" and is always down for a good time. I still love him even though he left me for Stephanie (his wife, who is also a terrific person) and a cushy suburban life in Roswell. I appreciate Nac because he brings a very positive outlook to life and makes the best of every situation.
Bridesmaid
Julia and I met and became friends while working at Emory together. We were both working night shift and shared a deep love for Harry Potter, Britney Spears, and college football. Our friendship became extra special in December 2017 when Julia and I attended the same Christmas party and met our significant others (conveniently, Andy and Brent were already best friends). For the past year and a half we have enjoyed many double dates together and look forward to more adventures as a group of 4!
Groomsman
Wedel is truly a one-of-a-kind guy. Like most of my other groomsmen, we quickly bonded over a love of sports and food. I met Wedel during my sophomore year and he quickly joined my core group of friends with Jordan and Ian. Following college, Wedel and I (along with Jordan and Lou) have tried to make it a point to do a guys trip every year. So far we have ventured to San Diego, Asheville, Chicago, Maine, & Boston together, but look forward to adding many more cities to that list in the future. As referenced in Bethany's post, we also happened to both meet our significant others at Ian's Christmas party in December 2017, so we definitely have a lot to thank Ian for!
Bridesmaid
Hollie and I first met while working night shift and bonded over Netflix, our love for R-Fed, Mexican food, and the same desire for work-life balance (emphasis on life, not work :) ) We were able to grow very close spending countless shifts together, but also coordinating gym dates on our off days, spending Hollie's 30th birthday together in Mexico, annual Cinco de Mayo celebrations, and mani-pedi dates. I appreciate Hollie for many reasons, but mainly because she still loves me even after I deserted her for a day-shift life and often take 48 hours to text her back.
Groomsman
I first met Cal close to 5 years ago through one of my other groomsman, Joe. Cal is a brilliant guy who is tons of fun to be around. He's always down to watch a sports game at a local pub, so we've spent tons of days watching college football, NFL, baseball, or basketball. We've also spent lots of time debating over a wide array of topics; anyone who knows Cal knows he can sometimes be very passionate and opinionated! My favorite thing about Cal is probably his trivia skills, given that he usually accounts for 80% of our team's answers every time we play together!
Bridesmaid
If I had to describe Madison in one word, I would choose the word 'loyal.' Ever since I met Madison in 2016, she has continued to be one of my go-to friends and confidants. I cherish Madison's life-of-the-party attitude, dependability, blunt honesty, and the fact that she agreed to go to Las Vegas with me approximately a month after we met. In addition to seeing Britney Spears in Vegas together, we have also traveled to Vermont, celebrated many birthdays at the lake, and continued our 'dinner club' tradition. If you want to find Madison at the wedding- look for the person that is laughing uncontrollably, likely at her own joke that nobody else understands. :) Love you, Maddy.
Groomsman
Joe is from a small beach town in South Florida (Sanibel Island) and brings a laid back beach attitude to life. I met Joe when I moved into the Morningside area in Atlanta in 2012. Although we were neighbors, it took about 6 months for us to finally find our footing, but from there we never looked back. He was always my go-to guy anytime we wanted to go out and grab a bite to eat, check out a local concert, or watch whatever big sporting event was going on that weekend. Joe has since moved back to Florida, but we still do our best to keep in touch and reminisce about the old days of 1533 Beech Valley Way.
