What are the dress requirements?

Answer

This event will be dressy casual or semi-formal. Semi-Formal or Dressy Casual: Part of dressing for a semi-formal or dressy casual wedding is paying close attention to when the ceremony will take place. For evening events, darker, more formal colors are recommended, while light colors and airy fabrics work best for daytime affairs. Women can wear below-the-knee dresses, slip dresses, a dressy skirt and top, or an elegant pantsuit (styled with heels, nice wedges, or formal flats). As for men, opt for a dress shirt and slacks, with the option to wear a tie. Semiformal gives you flexibility on comfort, but be sure not to dress too casually. What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

As the ceremony starts at 4:00pm, we request guests to arrive anytime from 3:15pm to 3:55pm.

Are there places to stay around the venue?

Answer

This venue is located in a small town, so most hotels are in nearby cities. We have some closer alternatives listed under the travel tab of this website.

Are children welcome?

Answer

We cherish spending time with our friends, family, loved ones and their children. However, to give all our guests the opportunity to celebrate without having to worry about little eyes and ears, we politely request no children.

All plus ones should be indicated on the invitations sent to guests.

To be determined. Either dinner or a heavy hors d'oeuvres will be served.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please make the bride and groom aware about any allergies ASAP. This way we can attempt to avoid the allergy or work on another option.

Yes, a limited bar of beer and wine will be available.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is ample parking at the venue for everyone. However, we encourage car pools, if possible.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be no transportation to or from hotels. Please make arrangements prior to the wedding for traveling to and from the venue. If needed the night of, some suggestions for transportation will be located at the bar.
