How should I dress for the beach ceremony?

Answer

However you will be the most comfortable. You will be walking on sand to get to the ceremony and while you are there. It's perfectly ok to remove your shoes and bury your toes in the sand. We will offer flip flops for those that don't want their dancing shoes to get sandy, but prefer to not be barefoot.

Beach conditions can be windy, what about my hair?

Answer

The beach can be windy, so a scarf or a hair tie may come in handy. The ceremony will take place just before sunset, depending on the temperature, a shawl or sweater may be needed as well.

Where do I park?

Answer

There is ample free parking at the Oak Island Golf Club. The beach access for the ceremony is a short walk from the parking lot across Caswell Beach Road.

I have dietary requirements, what will I eat?

Answer

The menu will offer meat, seafood and vegetarian options. If you have other dietary needs, please let Victoria or Ryan know.
