Question

What is an “open house” style reception?

Answer

We’ve been together for over 11 years by the time of our marriage, and would love to just hang out and celebrate with our family and friends in a low-key way! Our reception will be very untraditional, and we would love for EVERYONE to be able to stop by, even just for a few beers! If you can only come for the beginning of the reception and not stay too late, great! If you can only stop by for a half hour, that’s fine too! We will have more than enough food and drinks to last the evening

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your online RSVP says, "plus guest" then yes! Otherwise, we would prefer it just to be you!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

UPDATE: as we are now having our wedding outside at our home, we would LOVE you to bring your kids! We have tons of room to run and play, and would love for them to be a part of it!

Question

Is there parking for reception?

Answer

We do have minimal parking at our house, HOWEVER we would love everyone to park at Hobos (old venue) and you can be shuttled back and forth to our house and your vehicle anytime!

Question

Will I need to bring any money?

Answer

We will be providing ALL food and beverages as one way to say thank you for sharing in our lives and supporting our relationship for the past 11 years. There may be some opportunities for monetary donations to the bride and groom at the wedding IF YOU WISH, but please bring cash to tip our amazing bartenders!
