Trevor and Sarah caught each others eye at the restaurant she was working at in Statesboro, Ga the summer of 2018. They later on realized they had mutual friends. They officially met at a small bar in Statesboro and spent every weekend together after that. After finding out their mom's were roommates in college, in the same little college town where everything started, they knew this was something special. New Years Day 2021, Trevor asked Sarah to marry him.
