THE BEGINNING Bryan and Becca met through a mutual friend at the Luray Christmas Parade in December of 2017. After hanging out that night and Becca crying over firetrucks, both of us knew that we wanted to see where this relationship would go. Becca messaged Bryan on Facebook about a week or two later, and the talking never stopped. On February 10, 2018, Bryan asked Becca to be his girlfriend at the Luray Fire Department's fireman's dance that night. THE SEVEN YEARS IN BETWEEN A lot happened in the seven years between our engagement because let's face it, seven years is a very long time. We took yearly family trips to Myrtle Beach. We also took many trips to Tennessee and to the Outer Banks. We bought our first home. We also brought home not one, but two chocolate labs. We took a couple of cruises. We went to a lot of sporting events and even more concerts. We spent a lot of time with family and friends, making the best memories. But most importantly, we laughed and loved a lot, and we never gave up on each other. LOVE IS PATIENT On April 13, 2025, Bryan finally did what was thought to be impossible and asked Becca to marry him on a private island in the middle of the Caribbean while on a cruise for Bryan's 40th birthday. Shocked was an understatement; surprised, even more so; but absolutely excited is what both of us are feeling as we embark on this next chapter of our lives. And we are so incredibly blessed that we get to share all of this with you.
