We met in the most romantic way possible: in a basement party at UNH with a water bottle of vodka in hand. Together we learned how to navigate college life, starting careers, traveling the world, moving to multiple cities, raising the cutest pupper, buying our first house and now we’re onto our next big adventure: Married Life.
8 years later, Sam texted me at 10am saying we were going to get chinese food for dinner. It felt a little strange to plan dinner as I was eating my english muffin for breakfast so I just agreed and went on with my work day. I had worked in Boston that day so I got home exhausted after a 2 hour commute home and saw Sam had chinese food already set on the dining room table his dad built for us. We enjoyed crab rangoons and laughed at Kona as she did her best to beg for pork fried rice. After dinner, Sam handed me my fortune cookie and the fortune said “Will you marry me?” Of course, my first thought was “wow the taco bell sauce packets say that too!” But then I realized “oh man this is real” and immediately sobbed tears of joy and said yes!
