Woody's Breakfast And Burgers
This is where we spend almost every Saturday and/or Sunday morning with the dogs. We take a long walk along Mission Beach's boardwalk hosted by stunning ocean views, relaxing vibe, and excellent place to people watch. Most people don't know, but there's a secret upstairs entrance where you can escape the business of the boardwalk while sipping your morning coffee or eating a delicious morning breakfast. Pro tip: get the breakfast potatoes!!! AND the donuts. Zeke and Reese require potato-tax be paid.
San Diego Zoo Safari Park
Different location than the San Diego Zoo (about 40 minutes north), this wildlife and safari park offers a variety of animals, including cheetahs, giraffes, gorillas, kangaroos, lions, platypus, rhinos, and tigers, in natural habitats versus behind enclosed glass cases.
San Diego Zoo
This world-famous zoo offers a wide variety of animals, including pandas, polar bears, and giraffes, and features the Polar Bear Plunge and Skyfari!
SeaWorld San Diego
This theme park offers a variety of animal shows, including orca, dolphin, and sea lion performances, as well as rides and exhibits featuring sea life!
Sunset Cliffs Natural Park
We love to come here and watch sunset with the locals. There truly is no better place in San Diego to do it! This park offers beautiful ocean views, dramatic cliffs, and stunning sunsets. The peaceful and relaxing atmosphere, and the opportunity to watch surfers and explore tide pools are like none other. Enjoy the convenient parking and clean, well-maintained area.
Wayfarer Bread & Pastry
The best pastries outside of France. Ha! Best bakery - try kylie's favorite the Strawberry Pistachio Croissant! Pro tip: order ahead for pickup or be prepared to wait!
Seaport Village
This shopping center offers a variety of gift shops, souvenirs, and handmade items, as well as restaurants and a carousel. Beautiful ocean views, fun atmosphere, and the opportunity to walk, shop, and enjoy live music.
USS Midway Museum
This maritime museum offers a unique experience exploring a historic aircraft carrier, with a flight deck featuring planes and helicopters, and an audio tour with stories from veterans! Self-guided tours, the opportunity to sit in cockpits, and the friendly and knowledgeable staff make it well worthwhile!
Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve
This nature preserve offers beautiful hiking trails with stunning ocean views, and a long, relaxing beach. It has breathtaking scenery, a peaceful and rejuvenating vibe, and well-maintained trails, friendly staff, and clean restrooms!
Gaslamp Quarter
The Gaslamp is the epicenter of San Diego's nightlife scene and you will find theatres, art galleries, symphony halls, concert venues and museums.
Belmont Park
This amusement park offers a variety of rides, including the Giant Dipper roller coaster, as well as an arcade, mini golf, laser tag, and a zipline. It is a fun, family-friendly atmosphere, and the proximity to the beach and boardwalk make it a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Oh and there's free parking and friendly staff!
La Jolla Cove
This park offers stunning ocean views, opportunities to see sea lions and seals, and access to snorkeling and swimming. It has a beautiful coastal scenery, an abundance of wildlife, and a peaceful atmosphere tucked into a cute town with plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you entertained!

GoCar Tours
The GoCar takes you to spectacular places few visitors get to see. It’s like having a local show you around. And this little car can go where the tour buses can’t. Best of all, the sightseeing adventure happens at your pace. You can stop for photos, take detours, grab a coffee or break for lunch. It has in-vehicle GPS and audio commentary that allows you to sight-see at your own pace!
