Question
Where should I stay?
Answer
We've reserved room blocks at two hotels in the South Lake Union neighborhood of Seattle, within walking distance to the rehearsal dinner. The two hotels are directly across the street from one another and offer options for different travelers and budgets. James and Jenny will be staying at the Astra Hotel and all guest rooms in our block are $309/night at a more traditional hotel. Across the street is citizenM, an affordable luxury hotel where all guest rooms in our block are $199/night. Air BnB can also be a great option for some, see the "Travel" page for more guidance.

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your children, but thought you might like a night off! If you are traveling with children and need help connecting with local providers for childcare during wedding events, let Jenny know and she'll help you arrange.

Can I bring a date?

Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accommodate those on your invitation.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Our menu will be buffet style and options to suit all dietary needs will be provided.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We can't wait to dance the night away with our favorite people. Dress to impress with your best cocktail attire! Dress wearers- please refrain from wearing medium to dark green!

What's an unplugged ceremony?
Answer
We invite you to be truly present with us during our nuptials and kindly keep your phones and cameras away until after the ceremony. We've hired two amazing photographers and a talented videographer to capture our day, we'll make sure to share the footage with you after!

Is there parking near the ceremony venue?
Answer
You'll enter through "The Parlor" of WithinSodo which may be directly accessed at 2915 1st Ave S. Street parking on 1st Ave S. is free and usually plentiful. You are also welcome to park in the alley at 2916 Utah Ave S.
Question
Will your wedding be indoors or outdoors?
Answer
Our venue has a beautiful rooftop with a great view of the city skyline. Weather depending, we might utilize this space for a cocktail hour or late night dancing. The ceremony and dinner will be indoors.
