General COVID-19

Answer

The safety of our family and friends are our top priority. We are keeping an eye on the current state of the world and working with experts in regards to what/if any changes will need to be made in regards to our wedding. We understand that booking hotels and asking time off is a difficult task with such and uncertain future, so we completely understand if you need to wait a little longer before RSVPing. Love, Maria and Jacob

Question

Is the wedding still on?

Answer

LAST UPDATED 12/8/2020 At this point in time, the party is still scheduled to occur! We are working closely with our vendors to provide a safe and fun atmosphere to celebrate the marriage of Jacob and Maria. As the situation continues to change, we will do our best to remain in contact with all guests and update as necessary. Our venue is completely open air, with lots of land to spread out. Additional precautions are listed out in more detail below.

Question

COVID-19 Safety Precautions

Answer

-All staff in attendance have been trained on appropriate cleaning and disinfection, hand hygiene, and respiratory etiquette. -Our venue is operating at 75% capacity, as recommended by the state of Texas. The indoor facilities can hold 200 guests at this rate, though we don't expect more than 100, so social distancing will be easily obtained. -Our venue will control access, including opening doors, to prevent attendees from touching door handles. Additionally, any regularly touched surface will be frequently cleaned and disinfected. -Seating will be spaced out to prevent the extended co-mingling of groups. Please respect the seating plans and do not move seating unless otherwise assisted by venue staff. -Sanitization stations, as well as access to restrooms for hand washing, will be available at all times. Please use these amenities properly and frequently. -Food and drink will be served by staff only. Please avoid lines, as there will be multiple bars open for guests.

Question

What is the policy on masks?

Answer

-ALL employees and guests must wear face coverings while at The Ivory Oak. Masks will be available for all attendees upon arrival. -Exceptions where a mask is not required include: You are eating or drinking You are at your designated reception table with no visitors You are alone in a separate space from others You are outdoors and maintaining more than 6 ft distance from those outside your household -We ask that all guests are respectful and comply with these measures. Jacob and Maria specifically ask all attendees to wear a mask when approaching the bride and groom, unless otherwise expressed.
