FAQ

If you have any questions other than what we've listed here, please email us at brendan.samantha.wedding@gmail.com. Likewise, should anything change, you can expect an email from that address above.
Question

Will there be any COVID restrictions?

Answer

We have and will continue to take the pandemic very seriously. Originally we asked that our guests be fully vaccinated (booster highly encouraged!) or test negative prior to attending our wedding. Now due to the rigorous restrictions at our Honeymoon destination, we ask that everyone test negative regardless of vaccination status. We hope that with the test the government provided, it's more accessible for all. In the case that you show any form of symptoms or test positive for Covid-19 prior to the wedding, we ask that you inform us immediately and stay home. Please help us in making our day a safe, healthy, and worry-free one!

Question

Can I bring a date or a plus-one?

Answer

No, sorry, our wedding is strictly RSVP only. Due to budget reasons, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. Even if someone is unable to come within your party, we ask that you please let us make the decision for spots that open up.

Question

Can I bring my children?

Answer

We love your kids, however, we ask that you make it a date night! We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Even if someone is unable to come within your party, we ask that you please let us make the decision for spots that open up.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

Our registry is accessible right here on our website! There are tangible items as well as a honeymoon fund to choose from. Should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

Question

What time should guests arrive?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive a half-hour before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and there are no distractions during the I do's!

Question

Where should guests park?

Answer

Parking is free and there are ample spots available right beside the Castle. There is also a golf course accessible through Mt. Woodson Way, so keep an eye out for signage.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Think semi-formal/cocktail attire. It'll be mid-March in San Diego so consider bringing a jacket/coat for the evening. The average high during the day is 67 with an average low of 46 at night.

Question

Will food and drinks be served?

Answer

There will be appetizers for grazing and a two-entree buffet during dinner. We will also have an open bar available to our guests, and we highly encourage you to indulge in our signature cocktails! After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests will be guided over to the cocktail hour area, for finger foods and beverages.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Weather permitting, both the ceremony and reception will be outdoors. Since it is mid-March, if it rains, we will move the festivities indoors into the Castle. Rest assured, we will keep you dry!

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Absolutely! Apart from our unplugged ceremony, please snap away and make sure to hashtag #goinggoinggonzales so we can also look back at them!
