We're getting married!

In early September 2012, Ron and Brittany were introduced by their mutual college friends, Jeff & Stephanie. One evening out of the blue, Stephanie sent Brittany's phone number to Ron and included the message "put this to good use." Ron did not hesitate and texted her immediately, wondering when she would be able to hang out. After spending only a couple hours talking and getting to know each other, they both knew that something special was brewing. Nearly six years to the day they met, Brittany and Ron are ecstatic to have you all help celebrate our marriage on September 1, 2018.

After four years Ron decided the time had come to ask Brittany to spend the rest of their lives together. So he set out to buy an engagement that would take her breath away, and pick the date and place to pop the question. The location was an easy decision — Lake Tahoe, California. Ron has spent countless summers there, and its beautiful setting served as the perfect backdrop for the occasion. Timing was on Ron's side, too. He chose to propose on November 18, 2016, two days before his Mom's birthday. They surprised his Mom, as well as the rest of his family two days later at her birthday party. The following weekend was Thanksgiving, and Ron and Brittany were planning on traveling to visit her parents in San Diego. So, they would be celebrating with her family in Southern California less than a week later. Ron then began to finalize the last pieces of the puzzle. He asked his gracious co-worker Shawna to photograph the moment, made reservations at a local steakhouse, and packed a nice outfit for his soon-to-be-fiance to wear that evening. The proposal went without a hitch, and it was a moment neither Ron or Brittany will ever forget. We're so excited to spend the next chapter of our lives together! See you soon!
