Jordyn and Michael's story began in Fall 2014 as they embarked on their sophomore year at Ferrum College in VA. As two complete strangers striving to obtain the same degree, their paths were destined to cross. Jordyn and Michael spent time together going to different classes, last minute study sessions, sporting events, and weekends out. They grew from strangers to classmates, from classmates to acquaintances, and from acquaintances to friends. Jordyn loved Michael’s brains and smile and Michael loved Jordyn’s fun-loving attitude and desire to succeed. After a year and a half Michael finally got the courage to ask Jordyn to be his girlfriend by playing the guitar and singing her "Check Yes or No” by George Strait. Since then, Jordyn and Michael have opened and closed numerous chapters of their lives together. They graduated college together, started working, and moved in together in a small apartment outside of Charlotte, NC. They spent time adventuring with friends and family, hiking, camping, working out (lots of working out) and exploring places near and far. And after weeks of searching and stressing, Jordyn and Michael bought their first home together in October 2020 in Indian Trail, NC! Each experience over the past 5 years has helped Jordyn and Michael to write the story that is their lives together, and on May 22, 2021, they began the next big chapter. While visiting the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC, (one of Jordyn’s favorite places), Michael popped the question and Jordyn said yes!! With this newest milestone, it brings us and you to this page as we announce that we are looking forward to our wedding day on September 16, 2022! We will have an intimate celebration in Costa Mujeres, Mexico with close family and friends by our side. We hope that you will join us in celebration at some of our events leading up to this very special day.
