It all started through mutual friends — the kind of easy connection you don’t see coming but changes everything. From the very beginning, we hit it off instantly, realizing how much we had in common (which isn’t always easy to find!). Kristen kept insisting that George and his friends come along to a music festival with her crew. While his friends passed, George decided to tag along anyway — and it turned out to be one of the best decisions he’s ever made. We spent the whole festival laughing, dancing, and just gravitating toward each other. Before long, we were inseparable at every hangout. After our very first time spending the day together — just the two of us — we never went a single day without talking. Some might say “the rest is history,” but to us, it felt like the start of forever. Music festivals and cruising quickly became “our thing,” and even when George was living in Tampa in the early days (which meant lots of trips back and forth on I-4), we never let more than a few days go by without being together. Fast forward to May in the Florida Keys — Kristen’s hometown and one of our favorite places. George suggested we go down to the dock where we always sit by the water, this time to take maternity photos. While Kristen thought it was just another sweet moment to capture, George had something else planned. In one photo, Kristen noticed he wasn’t holding her belly from behind like usual. When she turned around, there he was — down on one knee. It was the easiest “yes” ever. Today, we’re building our life together in Clermont, FL, in our cozy home with our sweet baby girl Elizabeth and our two kitties, Simba and Sandy. We’re so excited for everything the future has in store — from everyday memories to big adventures. Kristen can’t wait to officially take George’s last name, and together, we can’t wait to keep growing our family, our love, and our story.
