We're Getting Married

Emily and Kendall (Emily's Maid of Honor) took a fun weekend trip to Pensacola, FL to visit a friend. Unbeknown to Emily and Troy this would be the beginning of forever. While Troy claims to have been "playing hard to get" it took him until Sunday to ask for Emily's number. Since that day they have not gone a day without talking. With Troy living in Florida and Emily living in Tennessee, New Mexico, and Georgia, the first year of their relationship was long distance. Finally in January of 2018, Emily made the move to San Diego to live in the same city as Troy. Six months later on June 23, 2018 Troy popped the question!

To no ones surprise, Troy has a hard time being the center of attention. Emily had planned a weekend trip to Palm Springs, CA to celebrate Troy's 25th birthday. Little did she know Emily was the one being surprised. On Saturday June 23, 2018 after a morning round of golf and a afternoon at the pool, Troy surprised Emily with dinner reservations. They went to dinner at a local restaurant, and on the way home Troy asked Emily to walk around the grounds of the resort. As we approached the waterfall at the center of the resort, a photographer stopped Emily and asked if he could take some "test" shots for another couple that would be coming soon. Little did she know he was actually there to take pictures of them. After a few minutes Emily started to walk away until Troy grabbed her hand and got down on one knee! Of course, she said YES!
