Scenic lift rides are one of our favorite activities to do at the Loaf in the fall to get the most amazing views of the mountain range and foliage. You can also hike, of course, or take the lift up and hike down -- choose your own adventure! *Bring layers as it can be cold at the top and occasionally you have to wait to get a lift down if there is a crowd.
Most restaurants/bars should be open this weekend but click the link below to be sure! 45North: Inside the hotel, very cute & cozy! Open Daily, 7-10am & 4-9pm The Bag: A Loaf classic. Known for their Bag Burgers, homemade Bag Sauce & pizza. D'Ellies: One of our favorites! They make the best sandwiches and breakfast! Highly recommend for Saturday morning before you hit the road. Open Daily, 8am-3pm The Rack: At the bottom of the Access Road. They usually have live music and a fun bar scene. Open Wednesday-Sunday, 4-9pm Tufulios: Off the mountain. Bowling alley: Off the mountain, but fun! The Sports & Fitness Center Cafe: Apparently their food is sneaky good! We plan to check it out this winter. There is also a pool with hot tubs. Mas Amigos: Good margs! Not positive they're open yet but we'll find out. Eighty8 Donut Cafe: Open Thursday-Sunday, 9am-4pm. Rolling Fatties: Off the mountain in Kingfield, so you pass on your way up. Great burritos!
Anni's Market: Right in town Kingfield, so you will pass on your way up. Snacks, beer, wine, liquor. Mainely Provisions: In Kingfield, so you will pass on your way up. This is a full grocery store. Ayottes: Off the mountain and about half way between Kingfield and Sugarloaf. Snacks, beer, wine & liquor. Mountainside Grocers: At the bottom of the Access Road, right before you turn up to go up the mountain. A smaller grocery store but has a great variety! Beer & wine available; no liquor. *This will be the closest to us on the mountain.
